MONGINSIDI GUEST HOUSE

While in Jogja, we stayed at Monginsidi Guest House. Actually we didn't plan to stay here. I already had booked and paid at Delta Homestay at Prawirotaman area, but because of the sudden changing of our schedule before, we decided to find other hotel closer to town. Thanks again to my friend Stephania, who'd been bothered by us to find the hotel. She recommended this Monginsidi Guest House at Jalan Wolter Monginsidi no 7. Phone (0274) 512767. It's a small hotel but has a very cozy ambience. Feels like home with a shady environment and not on a busy street, so it's calm. At first nite, we slept at Kepodang Room, and the second nite we moved to Rajawali Room, which is bigger and of course more expensive, because the kepodang room had been booked by others. They also have the restaurant which sell Mie Ceker, a boiled noodle with chicken's feet on it, which is already well known in Bandung, West Java. I tried the noodle once at the second nite, and I think it's delicious, of course without the chicken's feet. Because I don't like it.
