ANDI JAYA SUCKLING PIG AND TEMAN JOGER

One of the favorite place to eat for my beloved bro and sis was Balinese Suckling Pig. That day, we dropped by at Andi Jaya Suckling Pig stall, on our way back from Bedugul to Teman Joger shop at Ubud. The street named Baturity, Luwus village, Tabanan. The stall is on our left. Very crowded and cheap. Luckily we're not late, because, after taking our order, when Ray wanted to have some more, the seller said they had no more. I personally, didn't eat it. I never liked Balinese suckling pig, because it's too wet for me. The dry part only the skin which is crispy. But they were really like it. Then...we went to Teman Joger (Tempat Nyaman Joger). It's a store that sells mostly T shirts with unique words printed on it. They're originally made in Bali. I'm not too keen on their products because I think their T shirt's price is not cheap. So, I just bought one shirt only. Actually I liked a small Chinese model cabinet with many drawers on it, at their store, but I was afraid it would cost me much for the shipping fee to Jakarta. When I asked Orchid about the shipping fee, she said it's not too expensive, but I didn't have much time to go back to that place. May be someday...if I'm lucky I still can get it.

BEDUGUL

After that, we continued to Bedugul area to visit Ulun Danu Bratan temple, or Pura Bratan, which is a major water temple on Bali. The temple complex is located on the shores of Danau Bratan (Lake Bratan) in the mountains near Bedugul. The climate there was cool and the morning air was so fresh, made me want to sleep again. The ambiance was really good, especially for me, who don't like the hot temperature.

TAMAN AYUN

At the second day, we left the hotel at 7 o'clock in the morning. We set to Taman Ayun first. Taman Ayun is a Royal Temple of Mengwi Empire and it is located in Mengwi Village, Badung area and about 18 Km north side of Denpasar town. It is strategically located beside of major roadway between Denpasar to Singaraja. It is set on the land which is surrounded by the big fish pond and look like a drift on the water. It owns the beautiful temple building with multistoreyed roof and Balinese Architecture. The wide beautiful landscape garden in front courtyard to welcome all visitors who come and visit this temple. It is a beautiful place to visit.

FIRST NITE AT BALI

After dinner, we straight went back to the hotel. I directly took a bath and unpacked my luggage. Ray and Van went out to sight see the area surround the hotel Lusa. When they're back, they showed me some shirts Ray bought and Van had a temporary tatoo on her right arm. She felt a little pain that nite and asked Ray to blow her tatoo arm, so the pain would be subside. She felt sorry having that tatoo because she didn't know that temporary one would be painful too and it would last about 2 months, according to the maker. And she's afraid if that tatoo would be seen by customers or the employees when she back to work.

DINNER AT KEDONGANAN BEACH, JIMBARAN

We had dinner at Jimbaran Bay Seafood restaurant, at Kedonganan beach, Jimbaran area. Actually, the place was quite good, we could enjoy the sea view and sunset over there, without getting disrupted. There were also grill corn sellers by the beach, so Ray and Van tasted it. We ordered the seafood for our dinner, then for about 1 hour later they just came. The taste was OK, but not too special, but the price was really crazy price. Even more expensive than having better quality seafood in better place in Jakarta. What a robber. When the sun's gone, we hardly could see our own food. They gave only 1 small oil lantern in every table. How could we eat sea food conveniently in the dark ? This place is not recommended. We'd better not having seafood by the beach. Not for second time.

THE AYANA RESORT AND SPA

One of the ultimate scenery I had on this journey is when I was at The Ayana Resort and Spa. The place is a luxurious resort with a special ocean view. It seemed to be in the world's paradise. At first day, we already visited there, but, the phenomenal Rock Bar was closed for public. There was a wedding there. It made us even more curious. So, we're back the next day, and there we were, enjoying the sunset from the edge of the reef, because the rock bar was too full and they gave priority for the hotel guests only. It's good, saved us a lot.
