From GWK, we continued our trip to the Dreamland Beach, a beautiful beach located at Bali Pecatu Graha complex, Pecatu area, the southern of Bali, around 30 minutes away from Kuta beach, owned by Tommy Soeharto, the youngest son of Indonesian 2nd president. The beach is surrounded by the high cliffs and big reefs along the beach. They named it Dreamland because all the people from that area, used to be farmers, and they had a dream by the time this luxurious mega project has finished, it would change their life forever. They will have their own business in tourism industry. That's why they named it the dreamland (Tanah impian). But unfortunately, the project left unfinished after President Soeharto's fallen. And everybody's dream leaves nothing but a dream. Now, we can enjoy the beautiful sunset there under the steep reefs and playing at the clean white sandy beach. Its high waves, attracts many surfers from all round the world, so it's already become a new favorite spot for surfers in Bali.
